I love a good challenge – whether at work, on a board game, or the NYT crossword – and my favorite jobs are the hardest. In 2016, I joined Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and built our team from 0 to 4,000 volunteers in less than 3 months with no operating budget or support staff. Later at Thread, a nationally renowned community nonprofit, I reversed a decline in organizational performance, doubled student enrollment, increased financial efficiency, and executed an organizational restructuring to get Thread back on track to scale. All while navigating COVID and the most challenging racial tensions of our modern time. Now, I’m eager to dig into the next big challenge of our generation: the rise of AI.
