Yuri Zaitsev can be found out in the wild, conducting ethnographic field work for big corporations and local governments and turning that into designs. He is a globetrotting designer working on human centered projects, running public and private innovation workshops, speaking at conferences, forecasting the future of governance, and creating pop-up exhibits. He attempts to push the creative limits of what human-centered design can do to make society a better place, and we will see if it works. Yuri has a mild obsession with wellbeing, mental resilience, and health. Especially in hard to reach places. This stems from his previous experience in developing med devices, combined with a specialization in preventative healthcare when he was mentored by David Kelley (founder of IDEO and Stanford’s d.
