About Terence C.

Terence has played multiple roles across the venture space in the past 10+ years, as entrepreneur, educator and investor. He has co-founded several companies especially in the agritech and IoT space; and had one exit. Terence has also inspired and nurtured thousands of entrepreneurs and innovators, at MIT, INSEAD and many universities, governmental agencies and organizations across South East Asia as adjunct faculty member, coach or mentor. In 2014, Terence learned design thinking and social innovation with full scholarship from Stanford University. Most recently, Terence has been investing in deeptech startups, as founding partner at a Bay Area based angel investments group, and had one of his investing experiments emerged into an unicorn (valued at $1.8 billion, 15 months post investments). He is currently advising and heavily involved in the formation of two new venture fund of $100M+ in fund size, investing in sustainability technologies and A.I. Web 3.0 respectively. Terence is also crafting a new initiative empowering female scientists alternative career pathway into deeptech venture investing across APAC, and undertaking a Harvard Medical School global health track, looking at possibilities to scale healthcare equity in emerging markets.
