Dj Stout began his career in the media and marketing business in 1989 at the age of 17. He worked part-time in the research department at WSOC 103.7 and later served as Program Director and Operations Manager at 103.7 WSOC. He became one of the youngest Program Directors in the country at age 26, showcasing his early leadership in radio.
Education and Early Experience
Dj Stout graduated in 1990 from West Charlotte High School and started college at Wingate University on a soccer scholarship. He later transferred to The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he interned at 99.7 WRFX and Fox 610 while gaining practical experience in the industry.
