About Rocky Tilney
I'm a visual designer and marketer with over 18 years of experience in web design, interactive, brand identity, and marketing communications. I love helping fast-growing companies and startups develop their brand image and personality. A few things about me: 1.) I've helped launch dozens of startups and created brands for many of them. Oftentimes this included brand strategy, logo design, and web design. I love working with teams and strategizing on their next steps for success. 2.) In addition to helping startups, I have a passion for working with other industries such as food and beverage, small business, non-profits, and education. I love the creativity and impact you can have working in these other categories. 3.) I once flew and landed the actual Space Shuttle simulator at NASA with an real Shuttle astronaut as my co-pilot (and instructor). Still one of the highlights of my life. 4.) On a personal note: I love the outdoors! When I'm not designing, I'm mountain biking, snowboarding in Tahoe, playing soccer or basketball, hiking, or going to the movies with my family. My job is to help people connect with brands no matter their size. It doesn't matter if you are an individual founder that has bootstrapped or a growing company working toward a second or third round of funding. The steps and process is the same.
