He also holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and National Security Studies from Malmö University, which he completed from 2007 to 2010.

Jonathan's career began in education, where he worked as a 5th Grade Teacher at Imagine Schools in Phoenix, Arizona, from 2013 to 2014. He also participated in the TNTP Teaching Fellows program in 2013.
