Alexandra Valyshkova serves as the Head of IT Asset Management and Configuration Management (ITAM&CM) Transformation at SWIFT since 2022. In this role, she leads a transformation program aimed at implementing ServiceNow to enhance the organization's IT asset management and configuration management capabilities. Her focus is on developing a vision and strategy that aligns with the strategic goals of the organization while addressing customer needs and practical implementation aspects.
Previous Experience in IT Architecture
Prior to her current position, Valyshkova held various roles in enterprise architecture and technical analysis. She worked at SWIFT as an Enterprise and Application Architect from 2019 to 2020 and as Chapter Lead PM/PO for the Customer Interactions Tribe from 2020 to 2022. Her experience also includes a role at Mastercard as a Data Protection Services Architect from 2018 to 2019 and as a Solution Architect at Uniway from 2015 to 2016. These positions contributed to her strong background in managing complex IT solutions.
Educational Background
Valyshkova has a solid educational foundation in engineering and management. She earned a Master's degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Санкт-Петербургский Государственный Политехнический Университет, where she studied from 1997 to 2003. Additionally, she completed a Master's in Graphical Design at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University from 2003 to 2005. More recently, she obtained an Executive MBA from Solvay Brussels School, studying from 2021 to 2023.
IT Consulting and Development Experience
Throughout her career, Valyshkova has accumulated extensive experience in IT consulting and software development. She worked as a Senior Java Consultant at Accelior from 2007 to 2014 and held various roles at Belgacom, AXA, and UNIC N.V. Her responsibilities included application design, project leadership, and software development, which provided her with a comprehensive understanding of IT solutions and customer interactions.
Language Studies
In addition to her technical expertise, Valyshkova has pursued language studies to enhance her communication skills. She attended Vrije Universiteit Brussel for French language classes from 2007 to 2010 and for Dutch language classes from 2015 to 2017.
