He also completed an Advanced Diploma of Science in Information Systems Engineering at Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TARC) from 2008 to 2010, following a Diploma in the same field from 2006 to 2008. Earlier, he obtained the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (Malaysian Certificate of Education) at SMK Taman Kosas from 2001 to 2005.

Before joining SWIFT, Samuel Lim worked as an Engineering Lead at E2open from 2014 to 2016. In this role, he was responsible for leading engineering teams and overseeing project execution, contributing to the development of solutions that met client needs.
