Wendy Lea is a leader-practitioner in digital innovation, entrepreneurial ecosystem development, and economic recovery. Wendy fosters public/private partnerships that support policies and programs that stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship at state and national levels. In Colorado, Wendy serves on Governor Polis' Revenue Estimating Advisory Committee (GREAC) and leads TechHubNow! to showcase Colorado as a leader in advanced industries. She fosters a resilient and inclusive small business ecosystem as co-founder and Board Chair of Energize Colorado, mobilizing resources to close the nearly half-billion-dollar gap in small business funding in Colorado, particularly for women, BIPOC, veterans, and rural small business owners and entrepreneurs. Nationally, Wendy contributes to the Center for American Entrepreneurship (CAE) advisory board and the National Advisory Council for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (NACIE), developing strategies to bolster America’s national and economic security through strategies that expedite the commercialization of advanced technologies. In 2023, Wendy received the Denver Business Journal’s Outstanding Women in Business Award and the Boulder Chamber’s Woman Who Lights The Community Award.
