Joelle Lejay is currently employed at TELUS as a Technology Specialist (EIT) within the Graduate Technology Leadership Program. Before her current role at TELUS, Joelle Lejay gained diverse industry experience through various positions. At Victoria Hand Project in Victoria, BC, she worked as an Engineering Assistant for three months in 2018. Joelle also served as a Student Employee at the Rehabilitation Engineering Design Lab, British Columbia Institute of Technology in Burnaby for three months in 2017. From 2016 to 2017, she completed two four-month co-op terms as a Designer in Training at Nemetz (S/A) & Associates Ltd. Additionally, she worked as a Summer Research Assistant for one month in 2015 at Diacon Technologies Ltd.
Educational Background
Joelle Lejay completed her Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering at the University of Victoria, a five-year program from 2014 to 2019. Her academic journey included rigorous coursework and practical experience, contributing to her comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering principles. Furthermore, she enhanced her leadership skills through the Fellowship Program at Venture for Canada, where she studied from 2020 to 2021.

Her work at the Rehabilitation Engineering Design Lab involved research and development in the field of rehabilitation engineering. Graduate Technology Leadership Program at TELUS
Joelle Lejay began her role in the Graduate Technology Leadership Program at TELUS in September 2020.
