Furthermore, Niloofar successfully deployed the Rakuten AI/ML engine within the TELUS network infrastructure, enhancing the company’s data processing capabilities.

Niloofar has conducted extensive research on several cutting-edge technologies and standards. This includes O-RAN standards, where she has summarized findings and assessed progress in orchestration and automation. She has collaborated closely with team architects to define policy algorithms and data analytical modeling standards. Her research efforts extend to the 5G Non-Terrestrial network within the 3GPP standards, evaluating LEO, GEO, and MEO satellites for future network development. Niloofar also played a crucial role in leading the RIC (RAN Intelligent Controller) Request for Information process, evaluating vendors and defining requirements for the TELUS O-RAN RIC platform.
