About Srihari Sampathkumar
My team is hiring for both Autopilot and TeslaBot. Please reach out to me if you are genuinely passionate and interested in building the infrastructure and foundational software/compiler stack for solving real-world AGI. I lead the AI compute and data infrastructure, on-device AI inference compiler/runtime, camera ML/image quality, vehicle/robot software engineering teams at Tesla AI, focusing on building the AI inference and fleet data infrastructure and on-device AI software stack for running real-time inference, vehicle software integration for next-gen platforms for both Autopilot and TeslaBot. Prior to joining Tesla, I worked in the AV/Automotive multimedia team at NVIDIA, Santa Clara on the multimedia software development and camera bring-up for next generation automotive self-driving technology. I graduated with Masters in Computer Engineering at Purdue University on December 2015. I am interested in working in the areas of computer vision, multimedia and embedded systems. Prior to my masters, I worked in Ittiam Systems, Bangalore in the Mobile Imaging team in the development of imaging codecs and computational photography algorithms like HDR, Panorama and low light for smartphones.
