He later obtained a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science with a focus on Cancer Biology from The George Washington University between 2019 and 2021.
Previous Research Experience
Prior to his current role, Bogang Wu accumulated significant research experience. He worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at UT Health San Antonio from 2016 to 2018. He also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at The George Washington University from 2018 to 2020. Earlier in his career, he was a Graduate Researcher at the National Engineering Research Center of Genetic Medicine in Guangzhou, China, from 2013 to 2016, and a Research Assistant at Northwest University in Xi'an, China, for 7 months in 2013.
Involvement with Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer
In 2019, Bogang Wu participated in the Cancer Immunotherapy Winter School organized by the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC). This program took place in Phoenix, Arizona, and lasted for one month. His involvement in this initiative reflects his commitment to advancing knowledge and skills in cancer immunotherapy.
