Elizabeth Hahn serves as an Undergraduate Research & Teaching Assistant in Constitutional Law at The George Washington University. In this role, she teaches constitutional law and has authored research on Second Amendment adjudication and its implications in domestic violence cases for the Undergraduate Law Review. She has also held leadership positions within the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity at the university, including Director of Professional & Academic Events, where she plans and executes events for over 300 members.
Education and Expertise
Elizabeth Hahn is pursuing a double major in Political Science and International Business at The George Washington University, where she is on the pre-law track. She has achieved a Bachelor's degree from the university, having studied there from 2021 to 2024. Prior to this, she completed her GED at Roosevelt High School and attended Des Moines Area Community College, where she earned some credits towards an associate degree.
Professional Experience
Elizabeth has held various internships and positions that enhance her legal and political expertise. She worked as a Research Fellow at Encode Justice, a Political Scheduling & Finance Intern for Franken for Iowa, and as a Legal Casework and Policy Intern at Protect Our Defenders. Additionally, she gained experience in business development and research at the American Society of International Law. Currently, she is employed at the ACLU of the District of Columbia as a Legal Intake specialist and at TeleGeography as an International Market Research Intern.
Involvement in Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity
Elizabeth Hahn has been actively involved in the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity at The George Washington University. She served as an Undergraduate Member in 2022, then as a Professional & Academic Events Committee Member from 2022 to 2023, and is currently the Director of Professional & Academic Events for the 2023-2024 term. In these roles, she has contributed to organizing events that support the professional development of pre-law students.
