Before his current position, Kehan De Sousa held various roles related to sustainability and education. He worked as a Teaching Assistant at Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth from 2009 to 2011. He served as a Program Associate at the Center for Responsible Travel in 2013 and completed a research internship at Northeast Group, LLC in 2017. De Sousa also gained experience as a U.S. Climate Intern at the World Resources Institute in 2017.

Kehan De Sousa has made significant contributions to environmental initiatives at The George Washington University. He created and implemented the GW Campus Tree Protection Plan and served as project manager for the initiative to eliminate single-use plastics on campus.
