About Yana V.

I like solving hard challenges in the work of teams. Something magical happens when people work together to solve something. I geek out about research and great UX. When I hear that something is "already solved/ too crowded/ too big players/ no chance" my mind starts racing. I look for fundamental problems that are unsolved and I make contrarian bets. I spent my 20s building a company that I wanted to outlast me — Swipes, the happiest place to work. We built an award-winning task manager; reached the hearts and minds of 1mio users (B2C); a great company culture. We then pivoted to team collaboration (B2B) to tackle the hard challenge of too much friction between the systems of records - tasks, files, and chat. We made 13 product iterations but didn't hit it right. We built it from Silicon Valley with the backing of advisors and investors from Google, Box, Facebook, Slack, Salesforce, Airbnb & Microsoft... We took all our hard-earned learnings and applied them to a new big problem we unraveled - Wikis suck. Nobody updates them. Nobody reads them. In the age of AI, for the first time ever, we have a technology that can capture, organize, and assist humans with the knowledge they need to do their best work. This fall 2023, we were accepted in Techstars. ## Our vision is to accelerate the collaboration between AI and humans at work to solve complex problems. We imagine the AI era of work will require: - More collaboration between humans and AI - More remote and async work - More transactional and per-project relationships To make this feasible, companies need a database of high-quality information that employees, contractors, and AI agents can access in order to learn, get up-to-date answers, and take action on their work. We're building the infrastructure for that. We are creating a database of clean and curated company information that is optimized for the use of LLMs.
