Work at The Providence Center
Aubrie Marcoux has been employed at The Providence Center since 2017. She currently serves as the Team Manager for the Behavioral Health Outpatient Program - Integrated Health Home, a position she has held since 2021. In addition to her managerial role, she has also worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor within the Behavioral Health Outpatient program since 2018. Her experience at The Providence Center includes a focus on providing counseling services to individuals dealing with substance use and related issues.
Previous Experience in Behavioral Health
Prior to her current role, Aubrie Marcoux worked at Community Care Alliance in various capacities. She served as a Case Manager from 2008 to 2010 in Singleton Group Home and later in the Outpatient Community Support Program from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, she worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor at Community Care Alliance from 2015 to 2017 in the Rise to Recovery program, and again from 2017 to 2018 in the Women's Roads to Recovery program. Her diverse roles have contributed to her extensive experience in behavioral health.
Education and Expertise
Aubrie Marcoux studied at the Community College of Rhode Island, where she earned an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from 2002 to 2004. She then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Rhode Island College, completing her studies from 2017 to 2019. Currently, she is enrolled in a Master’s program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which she began in August 2019. Her educational background supports her expertise in counseling practices.
