Prior to her current position, Gopika volunteered with Child Rights and You (CRY) in 2018 for a duration of 11 months. During her time in New Delhi, she was part of the Volunteer Action Team, which focused on advocating for children's rights and welfare. This experience provided her with insights into social issues and the importance of community engagement.
