Work at The Standard
Pavan Koppu has been employed at The Standard as a Test Automation Architect since 2017. In this role, he has focused on the implementation of proof of concept, development, testing, and maintenance of automation bots using UI Path. His work includes hands-on experience in developing bots for various applications, including Citrix, SAP, web applications, and Excel integrations. Koppu has also designed an Automation Framework and automated scenarios utilizing Java, Lean FT, TestNG, and Maven for both Desktop and Client Server applications.
Previous Experience in Software Testing
Prior to his current role, Pavan Koppu worked at Wipro Technologies as a Software Test Engineer from 2007 to 2010. During this time, he designed an Automation Framework specifically for Angular-based applications, utilizing tools such as Protractor, Cypress, and Jasmine. He also held the position of Project Lead at UnitedHealth Group from 2015 to 2017, where he designed an Automation Framework for Mainframe applications using Java, H3270 emulator, Selenium, TestNG, and Maven. Additionally, he served as a QA Architect at JDA Software from 2010 to 2015.
Education and Expertise
Pavan Koppu completed his education at various institutions. He attended Morning Star Residential Public School, where he achieved his SSC from 1994 to 2000. He then studied at Sri Chaitanya College of Education, obtaining an Intermediate degree in MPC from 2000 to 2002. Koppu earned his BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Vignan's Engineering College from 2002 to 2006. His educational background supports his expertise in software testing and automation.
Automation Framework Development
Pavan Koppu has developed a comprehensive end-to-end CICD web Automation framework that utilizes Maven, Selenium, TestNG, and the Page Object Model. This framework integrates with the Release pipeline to facilitate execution during deployments across multiple environments. His experience also includes providing automation solutions for Web/Mobile Apps, Client Server, and API testing using tools such as SOAP UI, Lean FT, Selenium, and Appium.
