Previous Experience
Before founding The Supplant Company, Tom Simmons held several significant roles. He was the President of EPOC from 2016 to 2018 in Cambridge, UK. He also worked as a Borysiewicz Biomedical Fellow at the University of Cambridge for seven months in 2017-2018. Additionally, he served as a lecturer, mentor, and Agritech lead at Cambridge Judge Business School from 2017 to 2020, and was a Royal Society of Edinburgh Enterprise Fellow at the University of Cambridge from 2016 to 2017. His experience includes a role as a Global Futures Council Fellow at the World Economic Forum from 2016 to 2018 and as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge from 2013 to 2016.
