Additionally, Chan was a Curatorial Assistant of Chinese Art from 2007 to 2010, accumulating a total of eight years of experience at the museum.
Educational Background
Dany Chan studied at Brown University, where Chan earned a Master of Art in History of Art & Architecture with a focus on China from 2004 to 2007. Prior to this, Chan completed a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies, with a concentration in Chinese, at Colby College from 1998 to 2002. This educational background provides a strong foundation in Asian art history and cultural studies.
Fellowship Experience
In 2006, Dany Chan was a Mellon Fellow at the RISD Museum for 11 months. This fellowship provided Chan with additional curatorial experience and exposure to museum practices, further enhancing Chan's expertise in the field of art curation.
