About Steve Yee
My career began in 2000 when I landed a job at Fallon NY. I was thrilled, working on brands like Time Magazine, USTA, ABC Sports, Conseco and Starbucks. From there, I headed west to Goodby Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco where I worked on Hewlett Packard, Saturn, Budweiser, Haagen Daaz, Got Milk and Emerald Nuts. During my time at Goodby, I helped win new business like Ace Hardware and the Oakland A’s. I then moved back to my hometown of Los Angeles to marry my high school sweetheart and join TBWA/Chiat/Day where I worked on Nissan, Infiniti, Visa, Washington Mutual and the Grammy Awards. In 2009, I joined David&Goliath as an Associate Creative Director working on every brand at the agency including KIA, Universal Studios and VIZIO. Eventually, I rose through the ranks to become the Executive Creative Director on Jack in the Box and the California Lottery. Along the way, my work has been recognized by industry publications and award shows like Cannes, The One Show, The Art Directors Club of New York, Obie, Effie, Clio, and the Emmys. When I’m not working, I enjoy family time with my lovely wife and adorable daughters. When I’m not enjoying family time, I can be found pathetically reenacting my favorite Michael Jordan moments unsuccessfully on the basketball court.
