Before joining ThoughtWorks, Partha Dash worked at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as a Network Support Engineer from 2009 to 2010 and again from 2010 to 2012. His experience at TCS involved remote SSL VPN authentication and configuring firewall login authentication. This early experience laid the groundwork for his subsequent roles in network consultancy and leadership at ThoughtWorks.

Throughout his career, Partha Dash has achieved notable outcomes in network management. He evaluated and deployed SDN-based wireless solutions, resulting in an estimated savings of $100,000 in operational expenses over three years across 40 offices.
