Prior to Timberland, Francesca was the Footwear Sr Design Director for the Collection at Ralph Lauren from 2018 to 2019 in New York, contributing to the brand's high-end footwear line.

Francesca has also worked at Schwartz & Benjamin, Inc. as the Footwear Design Director from 2017 to 2018 in New York. From 2013 to 2016, she was the Footwear Design Director at SAM EDELMAN in New York. Francesca earned a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design from Politecnico di Milano, studying from 1995 to 2001. She also studied at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar for a year from 1998 to 1999. Her educational background provides a solid foundation for her extensive career in footwear design.
