Yves De Pauw currently serves as the Manager Customized Process Design at TomTom. In this role, he manages a team of GIS Engineers who are responsible for the automatic creation of new countries in TomTom's core databases. He oversees QTM coordinators tasked with worldwide coordination and support for technical parts in PI and leading RCA. Yves is also the Operational Business Owner for major transition projects at TomTom. Additionally, he is responsible for defining and following up on KPIs within his team and leads the Monthly Capacity Plan and various internal projects.
Previous Experience at Tele Atlas
Before joining TomTom, Yves De Pauw amassed extensive experience at Tele Atlas. From 2008 to 2010, he worked as a Business Architect. Prior to that, he was an Expert Process Engineer from 2006 to 2008, and a Team Coordinator from 2004 to 2006. Yves also served as a Software Engineer for seven years, from 1997 to 2004. Earlier in his career, he took on roles as a Technical Assistant from 1995 to 1997, Chief Operator from 1994 to 1995, and Digital Cartographer from 1992 to 1994.
Education and Fighter Pilot Training
Yves De Pauw studied at the Belgian Army, where he underwent training as a fighter pilot from 1989 to 1992. This foundational experience provided him with discipline and a unique skill set that would later contribute to his roles in process design and team management.
