About Jason Jones

I love being an entrepreneur. I love the process of identifying and flushing out an idea, committing to the project, pulling in the people and the money, creating a prototype and then an MVP, getting the first users, testing strategies for growth and adoption, figuring out pricing, refining the product based on user feedback, building out the team as we hit certain milestones, and then scaling once we achieve product market fit. In the industry, we call this zero to one; and I love it. At the earliest stage, it is a massive challenge to convert an idea into reality and you have to be comfortable with uncertainty. But as the business takes shape, there is a wonderful feeling of accomplishment as people buy your product, you build a team, and your business flourishes. As you look at my LinkedIn profile, you will see that I have started and exited many companies. I knew I was going to be an entrepreneur since I was a kid and I went to Babson, which is #1 in entrepreneurship. I am naturally drawn to new technology and I like to figure out how to apply that technology to solve large business problems. While I consider myself a generalist entrepreneur, I have had repeated success in the fintech industry, an industry that I enjoy working in. I used to think that the secret to life is to have fun since if you enjoy what you do, it is easier to be happy. But I recently saw a Harvard study on happiness, which says that the secret to life is to cultivate warm relationships with friends and family. I get that. For me, it is fun to build with people that I like and to make products that customers want to use. I get to cultivate those warm relationships as I build an ecosystem around my business, and that brings me great joy and happiness. Please get in touch if you want to talk about entrepreneurship or if you just want to say hi.
