Work at Two Sigma
Jinger Zhao has held multiple roles at Two Sigma since joining the firm in 2007. Currently, she serves as Managing Director of Quantitative Research, a position she has held since 2018. Prior to this, she was a Vice President of Quantitative Research from 2011 and a Senior Vice President of Quantitative Research since 2015. Her extensive experience at Two Sigma spans over 17 years, during which she has contributed to various quantitative research initiatives.
Previous Experience in Finance and Technology
Before joining Two Sigma, Jinger Zhao worked at QVT Financial LP as an Investment Analyst from 2005 to 2007. Her early career included internships at Microsoft as a Software Test Engineer and Program Manager in 2002 and 2003, respectively. She also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at ICLUBcentral from 2000 to 2002 and as a Software Engineer at Endeca Technologies from 2004 to 2005.
Education and Expertise
Jinger Zhao studied at Harvard University, where she earned an AB degree in Computer Science and Neuroscience from 2000 to 2004. Her academic background provides a strong foundation for her work in quantitative research. Additionally, she attended Plano Senior High School from 1998 to 2000.
