Luis holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Universidad de Sevilla, where he focused on Mechanics of Continuous Media, Theory of Structures, and Soil Engineering. He also achieved a Master’s in the Theory and Practical Application of Element Finite Method and CAE simulation from ETS de Ingenieros Industriales UNED. His education is complemented by advanced skills in software tools such as Ansys, SAP2000, Plaxis, and HEC-RAS.
Contributions to Dam Monitoring Services
As a member of the Geotechnical Team, Luis has been involved in dam monitoring services and technical support for 29 dams within the Andalusian Mediterranean Basins District. His work includes significant projects such as the improvement, drainage, and auscultation of the Dam of Bornos in Cadiz, Spain, and contributions to the Piedras Dam in Cartaya, Huelva.

Luis has gained valuable experience working on international projects in various countries, including Mexico, Morocco, Chile, the United Kingdom, and Egypt. His diverse background in civil engineering and geotechnical engineering has equipped him with a global perspective on engineering challenges and solutions.
