He has also obtained a Project Management Masters Certification from the University of Denver, completing the program from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, he earned a Master’s certificate in GIS from the University of Colorado Denver between 2002 and 2005. He furthered his education with a GIS Certificate from Metropolitan State College of Denver, studying from 1998 to 2000.

Before joining USGS, Greg Matthews worked as a GIS Analyst at Parsons from 2000 to 2005 in Denver, Colorado.
