Current Role at U.S. Geological Survey
Kacie Wright serves as a Biologist and Community Outreach Specialist at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) since 2020. In this role, she focuses on developing educational materials related to the Coastal Wetlands Planning, Protection, and Restoration Act (CWPPRA). Kacie Wright began her career with various roles that contributed to her professional development. She worked as a Mail Clerk at Eckerd College from 2010 to 2014 and participated in an International Experience program focused on the Natural History of the Galapagos Islands and Ecuador in 2012. Additionally, she interned as a Photo Identification Intern at The Florida Aquarium in 2013, which provided her with valuable experience in marine biology.
