About Mounira Tlili
Received her B.Sc degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Computer Science in 2017. Worked as a research assistant in the Engineering department at Qatar University. Did a machine learning/deep learning focused Master’s degree at Carnegie Mellon University in Computer Science with a thesis focused on human emotion recognition from video. Currently works as a software engineer at Uber. Leveraging Machine Learning and deep learning techniques for automatic fraud detection. The main objective of her work is creating a technology that senses the environment and reacts to it autonomously and seamlessly resulting in holistic experience for users with minimal interaction. Her research interests are in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
