He worked as a Windows/Citrix Specialist at Merrill Lynch from 2004 to 2007 and as an IT Manager at Intier Automotive from 2003 to 2004. His early career included positions as a Server Analyst at Pink Roccade/Woolwich and as an IT Support Engineer at KM Media Group and GE. This diverse background has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of IT support and infrastructure management.

Ben Hopkins studied at Mid-Kent College, where he achieved an Advanced GNVQ in IT from 1999 to 2000. He also attended The Malling School from 1993 to 1998. In addition to his formal education, he holds multiple professional certifications, including MCSE, MCSA, MCTS, MCITP, Exchange, CCA-XenDesktop, CCA-XenApp, Security+, Network+, Server+, Prince2, ITIL v4, and Professional Scrum Master.
