He also earned a Juris Doctor (JD) in Law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid during the same timeframe. His foundational education includes completing the Abitur at Deutsche Schule Madrid from 1989 to 2001.

Usera has been a non-practicing lawyer and a member of the Bar Association of Madrid since 2011. He previously worked as a Legal Counsel in the Restructuring & Insolvency Department at Garrigues for nine months in 2011-2012, and he has extensive experience in legal matters related to corporate governance and compliance.
