Recognized as one of the most active investors in deep tech, Alex specializes in spearheading investments in cutting-edge domains such as AI, robotics, semiconductors, and auto tech. Alex's portfolio includes more than a dozen technology unicorns such as UBTech Robotics (9880.HK), Zhipu AI, Biren, Axera, Megvii, Unisound, Viewtrix, ROX Motors, Mech-Mind Robotics, Tongdun, Roborock (SHSE: 688169), Transwarp (SHSE: 688031), Hyperstrong, DSTcars, etc. and high growth startups such as StepFun, DeepWay, Houmo.ai, Infinigence, Futurise, Frontis, Chaitin Technologies (acquired by Alibaba), IDSManager (acquired by Alibaba), etc. Alex started his venture capital career at Kleiner Perkins (KPCB). Before beginning his investment career, Alex worked for HP (Hewlett-Packard).
