Matthew Pierce loves interactive media. He is a founder, executive, teacher, game designer, writer, inventor, and investor in the space. He currently serves as the founder and CEO of Versus Systems (Nasdaq: VS), a gaming and interactive advertising company that works with global brands as well as NFL, NBA, NHL, and NCAA teams to bring rewarded games to fans. Pierce has authored multiple patents in the fields of gaming, gambling, AI, and location-based services. Pierce teaches early-stage company development at UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he earned his MBA. He has spoken at SXSW, NYC Games Conference, D.I.C.E. Summit, Digital Hollywood, Pulse, and Digital Entertainment World. Pierce is a graduate of Stanford University where he was an NCAA champion swimmer and a member of the debate team. He now lives in Culver City with his wife and daughters.
