About Simon Board
I am a Professor of Economics at UCLA, and the Benjamin Graham Centennial Chair of Value Investing. My research is on information and incentives in markets. This includes the design of dynamic pricing mechanisms and the study of competitive advantage using the tools of game theory. I teach a class on Competitive Strategy to juniors and seniors which is designed to complement the department's Value Investing program. This class teaches students the basics of strategy through game theoretic models and real-world case studies, and features alumni guest speakers.
