Khuyen Tran has been employed as a CT Technologist at UF Health Jacksonville since 2020. In this role, he operates advanced imaging machines, including SIEMEN 128 slices and GE 64 slices, to perform a variety of CT exams. His responsibilities include conducting over 6,000 CT examinations, which encompass Cardiac, Trauma, Stroke, Angiography, non-contrast, and Interventional studies. Tran also plays a key role in training and educating fellow technologists for CT certifications and serves as a preceptor for Radiography interns.

Khuyen Tran has extensive experience in the U.S. Navy, where he held multiple positions. He served as a Seaman at the Medical Education Training Campus in Fort Sam Houston from 2012 to 2014. Tran worked as a Recruit at RTC Great Lakes for 2 months in 2012. He also served as a Hospital Corpsman at the Naval Medical Center San Diego from 2013 to 2014. His role as a Radiologic Technologist included positions at the Naval Hospital Jacksonville from 2018 to 2020 and the USS Fort McHenry from 2017 to 2018. He was stationed at the US Naval Hospital Okinawa from 2014 to 2017.

Khuyen Tran holds an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, which he completed from 2010 to 2012. He furthered his education by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Post University between 2014 and 2017. Contributions During COVID-19 Pandemic
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Khuyen Tran played a crucial role in healthcare by expertly performing chest studies for suspected and confirmed cases. He maintained Level 1 Trauma CT services while successfully managing the challenges posed by the pandemic. Tran also ensured the safety of his work environment by maintaining zero cross infection during the national shortage of supplies through the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
