Kristy Ward completed her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Southwestern University from 1998 to 2001. She then pursued her Doctor of Medicine degree at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston, graduating in 2005. Following her medical degree, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UTMB from 2005 to 2009. She further specialized in gynecologic oncology during her fellowship at UC San Diego Health System from 2010 to 2014. In addition, she earned a Master's degree in Clinical Research from the University of California, San Diego, from 2011 to 2013.
Background
Kristy Ward's professional journey includes significant experience in both clinical practice and research. She began her medical training with a residency at UTMB, followed by a postdoctoral research fellowship at the same institution from 2009 to 2010. After her fellowship, she transitioned to UC San Diego Health System, where she focused on gynecologic oncology for four years before joining UF Health Jacksonville in 2014.
