James Hughes completed his Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Sociology at Oberlin College from 1979 to 1983. He then pursued graduate studies at the University of Chicago, where he earned a Master’s degree in Sociology from 1986 to 1988 and a Doctorate in Philosophy, focusing on Sociology, from 1988 to 1994. He also attended Columbus Alternative High School from 1978 to 1979.

Teaching Experience
