She also worked as a Patient Care Assistant at Baptist Medical Center from 2015 to 2016 for seven months in the San Antonio, Texas area. These positions provided her with foundational experience in patient care and healthcare operations.
Advocacy and Event Support
In her role at the United Nations Foundation, Samantha Mendoza provides logistical support for significant advocacy events, including the Nothing But Nets and Shot@Life summits. She searches for, reaches out to, and interviews guest speakers for the Global Health Fellowship, which includes professionals such as an advocacy professor, a malaria researcher, and a former congressman.
