"A picture is worth a thousand words." - I am interested to develop methods that assist human through visual computing. My research focus is exploring areas where computers can either synthesize meaningful images, or to extract essential insights from images by machine learning. I have research experience in Computer Vision, Human Centered Computing and Visualization. Currently I am doing my PhD at the University of Colorado Boulder, USA, and researching on medical image analysis and visualization under Prof. Tom Yeh. Before that, I completed my MSc in CS from the University of Calgary, Canada under Prof. Usman Alim, and worked on scientific data visualization.
