About Shafiuddin Rehan Ahmed

As a PhD candidate in computer science at the University of Colorado Boulder, I have been involved in various natural language processing (NLP) research projects that aim to advance the state of the art in event coreference, semantic role labeling, and event extraction. I have published multiple papers in prestigious venues, such as the Association for Computational Linguistics, and contributed to open-source projects, such as spacy-llm. With over 6 years of experience in NLP and machine learning (ML), I have developed strong expertise in using cutting-edge models and techniques, such as BERT, GPT-4, and retrieval augmented generation (RAG), to solve complex and challenging problems in natural language understanding and generation. I am passionate about creating innovative and impactful solutions that can benefit people and society, and I am always eager to learn new skills and collaborate with others.
