Winemaking and Winery Management
Since 1987, Jeff Stevenson has been a partner and winemaker at Herrerias Cellars, an artisan winery notable for its Gold Medal winning wines produced from Sonoma County grapes. He has hands-on experience in all aspects of winemaking, from vineyard management and fruit acquisition to the production and bottling of 1,000 cases of wine per year. Stevenson was also a founding member of the Petaluma Gap, a recognized viticultural area in Sonoma County.
Venture Capital and Startup Success
Jeff Stevenson has a strong background in venture capital, having been a General Partner at Alcatel Ventures LLP. He was responsible for opening the Silicon Valley office and leading investment activities for the venture arm of Alcatel AG. Stevenson also founded Venture Crossing LLC, helping early-stage startups raise over $50 million from tier 1 VC investors. His initiative has aided in the growth and financial backing of several pioneering companies.
Contributions to Internet and Telecom Companies
In the early 1990s, Jeff Stevenson played pivotal roles in the growth of Internet giants NetManage and Netscape Communications. At RealNames Corporation, he worked as Sr. Vice President of Worldwide Sales, managing a team of over 150 telesales and direct sales staff. Musical Pursuits
