Prior to his role at WAVE BL, Yair Sappir accumulated extensive experience in cybersecurity at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel. He worked there from 2004 to 2015, holding various positions including Cyber DevOps Engineer and Team Leader, Cybersecurity R&D Team Leader, Cybersecurity Red Team Leader, and Cybersecurity Expert. His tenure included leading complex cross-disciplinary projects and expanding multiple teams within the Israeli Ministry of Defense.

Yair Sappir studied at Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Software Engineering from 2008 to 2013.
