Education and Expertise
Judith Cabelli earned a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from George Mason University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Spanish from the University of Maryland. Additionally, she has earned the National Development Council’s Housing Development Finance Professional certification.
Previous Roles in Housing Development
Before her current role, Judith served as the Director of the Affordable Housing Development Division of the Fairfax County Department of Housing and Community Development. Her career also includes ten years at Wesley Housing, culminating in her position as the Senior Real Estate Development Project Manager. She also worked as the Associate Development Project Manager/Relocation Specialist for The Community Builders in Washington, DC, and was a Capital City Fellow with the DC Department of Housing and Community Development.
Equity and Social Justice Initiatives
Judith Cabelli has been actively involved in equity and social justice initiatives. She trained and served as an Equity Ambassador for the One Fairfax Racial and Social Equity policy and County initiative, which aims to promote fairness and equity in all aspects of community development.
