Batt's work on the animation system combined both creative and technical expertise to deliver dynamic and engaging interactive content.

Anthony Batt Interactive Battle System and Physical Effects

Anthony Batt designed and implemented an Interactive Battle System for the Harry Potter VR experiences, featuring a state machine that drives Death Eater swarm behaviors and an attack and defense wand spell casting system. Additionally, he incorporated a range of real-time synchronized virtual-physical effects, utilizing interactive controls for elements like water misting, air cannons, smell aerosols, and haptic floor rumbles. These elements worked together to reinforce key story moments and maintain the illusion of presence in the experiences.
