About Anisia Corona, Mph

Anisia Corona has a Masters in Public Health and Business, and is a public health scientist and digital health entrepreneur with 23 years of healthcare experience. Her expertise spans 6 years in direct patient care, 5 years in clinical research, and 12 years in the development and operations of digital health solutions and of a provider network for a health insurance plan. She is recognized as a transformative leader and innovator in the health and wellness sector working towards a cure for Long Covid. Anisia has two undergrad degrees in the sciences from San Francisco University. She pivoted away from medical school and attended public health and business grad school at The University of Queensland in Australia. In 2022, after being accepted into Quantic’s MBA program, she chose building a startup instead. She has been an Entrepreneur in Health 2.0 San Francisco's 1st digital health pre-accelerator, and is currently with ASU's venture development program. She was a mentor and panel guest at Phoenix Start Up week, April 27th, 2023. Anisia’s education has given her the foundation to build one of the first digital navigators in the industry, build Stanford’s Chronic Disease Self-Management programs through the city of San Francisco, build the network of providers for Centene Corporation, and was hired by PepsiCo to help them build a digital navigator for their employees. Anisia has a passion and curiosity for innovative solutions in digital health, transformations of end-to-end customer journeys, and collaborating with stakeholders in the industry to build quality and profitable solutions. In 2020, Anisia was diagnosed with Postacute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 (Long Covid) and then followed by Lupus, Myasthenia Gravis, POTS, post-concussion syndrome, and finally ME/CFS - this was after PR’ing in her half marathon and being in the healthiest time of her life. Anisia became obsessed with ways to solve the huge knowledge gap on post viral conditions that lead to debilitating chronic diseases. The search for finding treatments and vendors to manage care is what lead Anisia to begin building her second digital health company, Solumbo. In our fragmented market of healthcare services, one may spend hours and thousands of dollars testing multiple solutions to manage their health. Solumbo is on a mission to provide the highest standard of disease management and improve on health equity, access, and outcomes by referring customers to an array of solution products and services for Long Covid.
