Engineer, founder & investor. Tom has founded VC-backed & bootstrapped companies and led both the engineering & business sides. Hundreds of thousands of people have used the products he built. Tom combines technical depth with product instinct, strategic thinking & an ability to sell. Recently he’s been advising startups, doing some angel investing, and exploring the longevity space. He’s particularly interested in hard problems at the intersection of AI, physics & biology. Before all this, Tom spent a decade working at some of the world’s best hedge funds, banks & asset managers - from small startups to established firms. He mainly used data to drive investment decisions in traditional & crypto markets. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and studied Physics at Oxford, specialising in computational simulation and biophysics.
