Sarah is the founder and CEO of Startup Parent, a company focused on telling the stories of women's leadership across family and work. She is the host of the The Startup Parent Podcast, where she interviews entrepreneurs and business leaders about parenting, work, and and family. The Wise Women's Council is a year-long leadership incubator run by Startup Parent for women & womxn who are navigating business alongside parenting. Sarah is also a yoga teacher, is a 20-time NCAA All-American swimmer, and an avid hiker. She successfully raised $32,398 for charity: water by swimming the "Escape from Alcatraz" in her birthday suit in 58-degree water. Before founding her current company, Sarah worked as a writer, strategist, and communications specialist. She's spoken and taught workshops at Harvard, the University of Virginia, the University of Pennsylvania, UC Berkeley, General Assembly, One Month, and more.
