Dr. Beth Haney, DNP, FNP-C, FAANP, FAAN is Councilwoman and former mayor (2020) of Yorba Linda, doctor of nursing practice & a nationally certified family nurse practitioner specializing in cosmetic dermatology treatments, skincare, disease prevention, health promotion & wellness. She currently serves on the governing board of Placentia-Linda Hospital as Vice-Chairman. Beth is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Haney is a member of the American Association for Nurse Practitioners Health Policy Committee and is Chair of the 2022 AANP Health Policy Conference. Dr. Haney is a former Assistant Clinical Professor at UCI, who taught from 2010 until 2018 Women's Health, Advanced Physical Assessment, Advanced Practice Policy, & Clinical Procedures classes in the nurse practitioner program and currently precepts UCI NP students. Dr. Haney was awarded Faculty of the Year 2013 by her students. In addition, she offered the first ever University of California aesthetic courses for nursing & medical professionals through UCI Distance Learning. Dr. Haney served on the California Association for Nurse Practitioners as President & has held leadership positions for over a decade. She founded Luxe Aesthetic Center in Yorba Linda, CA in 2006 & was involved in the development of a high speed laser hair removal device for Lumenis Inc., a medical laser company.
